Best of Uganda Wildlife & Primates
16 Days
Uganda is probably best known for its highly endangered mountain gorillas located in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Besides affording the opportunity to encounter these magnificent and awe-inspiring creatures in their natural habitat, Uganda’s diverse landscape also encompasses the permanently snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, numerous spectacular crater lakes, the source of the Nile River, the immense Lake Victoria, and the magnificent Murchison Falls. Uganda offers exceptional wildlife viewing – being home to not only all of Africa’s “Big 5”, but some of the best birdlife on the continent, the endangered chimpanzee (in the Kibale Forest), numerous other primates, and the remarkable tree-climbing lions of Queen Elizabeth National Park. On this tour, we have included all of these highlights, plus a number of additional wildlife and cultural experiences. Uganda, also referred to as the “Pearl of Africa”, is truly an African dream come true.
