Madagascar is best visited during the dry season, from May to November. December to March is the cyclone season, so we generally avoid visiting during that period. July to November is a good time for whales, and October is the best month for seeing lemur babies.
5 Days
Marine life, pristine beaches, snorkelling, island culture, Black Lemurs
The focus of this trip (usually done as an extension to our “Best of Madagascar Wildlife Safari”) is to explore the various islands off the northwest coast of Madagascar - including Nosy Be, Nosy Tanikely, Nosy Komba and Nosy Iranja (optional). We spend two nights on Nosy Be, the largest and most visited of the islands, and two nights on Nosy Komba, a smaller volcanic island, known for its population of Black Lemurs. Between the various islands we travel by motorboat. The trip also includes the Nosy Tanikely Marine National Park, with its exceptional marine life.
