Namibia is a true desert and can be extremely hot in the summer months. We recommend visiting any time between May and October to avoid the hottest (and potentially rainy) season. May is a beautiful month for landscapes, and September is the best month for birdlife in the Caprivi area.

Namibia is an incredible country from a landscape photography perspective, and this tour aims to incorporate its most spectacular scenery - from the dunes of the Namib Desert and the granite outcrops of the Damaraland, to the lush swamps of the Okavango panhandle. We have also included the country’s best game reserves, including the world-renowned Etosha, Mahango and Mudumo National Parks, plus a visit to the Africat Foundation – where we radio-track cheetahs and leopards. The trip starts in Windhoek, Namibia, and ends in Livingstone, Zambia. We also briefly visit the Okavango Panhandle in Botswana, with it’s remarkable birdlife and reed-lined river channels, teeming with hippos and crocs, and we end the tour at the magnificent Victoria Falls! This 'in depth' tour aims to capture the rich scenic beauty and diversity of the region, and will provide you with an incredible nature and wildlife experience – truly Africa at its best!
